An Introduction

Click on the map for a closer look at the Confederacy.

As citizens of the State of Florida and the Confederate States of America, we are privileged to live in a republic that promotes Freedom, Liberty and Decency.

Sadly though, a war of invasion and occupation of our land from the victor of that war has done untold damage to those principles for 140 years.
Many have endured this erosion of liberty in silence these past generations.

Parents and Students, please pay close attention. Legislators and Educators, please heed these messages.

This is about to change.

What's Your Opinion?

Abe Lincoln and FDR coming are out of the closet -- so to speak.

Some of today's leading politicans, pundits and media moguls are not denying the unconstitutional acts of these two highly rated and controversial U.S. Presidents. To the contrary, the spin is now that they acted in a practical, timely and decisive manner moving outside the theoretical and into the realm of the realistic -- a sort of "the end justifies the means" scenario, it would seem.

These gurus of the airways tout these precedents as license for present leaders to also move from the theoretical and into the pragmatic when considering the safety and defense of the country.

Perhaps this is the correct course of action to be taken in light of our current world situation, and in this regard, maybe the States should amend our Federal Bill of Rights to reflect this attitude.

We could begin with the Fourth Amendment. Do you agree? Join our survey and let us know how you feel. See what others think.

Amending our Bill of Rights
In light of present world dangers, the Fourth Amendment should be amended as follows: (Additions are underlined, deletions are bracketed)

Amendment IV

Except in a state of actual war or threat of war, the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon [probable] reasonable cause, supported by oath of affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized..
Yes, the government shouldn't be hampered in time of war. I support this revision.
No, this would take away basic freedoms and destroy our Republic.
I'm not sure. I just can't make up my mind.
